CalSoft Instructions: Use with ALLCalTrak Calibrators

Easily record flow data from your calibrator to a PC by downloading our CalSoft Software! CalSoft works with all of our CalTrak calibrators and allows you to take and export data directly to a Microsoft environment. Cal Soft quickly monitors and captures flow data in real time.  It allows the user to:

  • Capture flow data from any Sierra CalTrak directly to a PC and export the data to a Microsoft environment.
  • Monitor and graph flow data in real time.
  • Enter flow rates from devices under test or other flow sources to create calibration certificates.

Self-Extracting ZIP File

CalSoft10_20140314.exe

The CalSoft Full Installer package file is named: "CalSoft10_20140314.exe". This is a self-extracting ZIP file. Please follow the instructions below to use it:

  1. Download and save CalSoft10_20140314.exe to your local drive
  2. Double-click the file to execute and extract files
  3. Once the extraction is complete, you will find the following items:
    • \CalSoft - this is the root folder
    • \Acrobat - contains Acrobat reader version 9
    • \CalSoft - contains installer files
    • \Docs - contains the CHM format Help File named “CalSoft.chm”
    • Autorun.inf - this file will make your computer autoplay when you insert in the CD containing the CalSoft install files
    • Launch.exe - this file will execute the “Welcome” screen to let users choose what they want to do.
  4. To install, just double-click the “Launch.exe” file
